Vault Events tries to green its events and make this future proof

To reach this goal:
Vault applies the latest smart and efficient technologies to reduce energy consumption and outflow.
During construction/tear down and event day the festival runs on battery instead of aggregates
Aggregates are filled with HVO (less harmful to the environment)

FOOD SUSTAINABILITY
Vault encourages visitors to choose the vegetarian food options. More than 80%  on offer is vegetarian.  A vegetarian diet helps to reduce water pollution and the harmful effect of livestock production. All of our eating utensils are 100% compostable or recyclable eating utensils.

PET PLASTIC DEPOSIT SYSTEM
All drinking cups and bottles are returned to the bar and are recycled.
We encourage visitors to return their cup or bottle to the bar. Our aim in the end is to recycle 100% of the issued cups and bottles.

RAW MATERIALS
Decoration and all other materials needed for the event will be reused.

WASTE SEPARATION
Vault will separate waste streams to reduce residual waste as much as possible.
We process all plastic bottle caps.
Cigarette butts are collected in cigarette butt bins around the terrain and do not end up on the ground
Our aim is to substantially reduce Waste per visitor.

MOBILITY VISITORS
We encourage all of our visitors to travel by public transport  or bike and we always provide more than enough room to park their bike. For some events, the dress code and home addresses of visitors might make this a bit problematic.  
We encourage parking at the city edges. Three large P and R’s are located within walking distance of the festival terrain.
